Punjab Govt Announces To Digitize Its education System

With the advancement of technology and revolution of digitization every field especially the education is needed to be updated and enhanced as per this technological advancement. Because, education is a key weapon for country and nation to cope with to progress and if education does not meet the needs demanded according to era, the country and nation can’t flourish.

In the vision to make education modern and advanced as per the international standards and make it easy to receive education using latest technological tools and gadgets, the Government of Punjab has announced to digitize the education system in the Punjab province.

According to details, the Education Minister of Punjab, Murad Raas has decided to digitize the education system by the end of this year. According to new system, the government will establish the latest means to impart education/education will be imparted online from class 9th to 12th. The academies culture will be ended after launching the education digitization system.

In this regard, the provincial government will launch the new education policies and every student will avail the equal education opportunities across the province.

The CM Punjab stated:

“The new education system would become a role model for other cities of the country,”

He further added:

“For the first time in Punjab, more than 27,000 Public Schools are being Upgraded-Primary to Elementary and Elementary to Secondary, this would retain 4,000,000 (million) children in schools that drop out due to access issues,”
