PIMS Admission Open for PG Residency Training Programs 2025
Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences PIMS is excited to announce admissions for 2024-25 for a range of postgraduate residency training programs starting in January 2025. This includes FCPS Level-I and Level-II programs, FCPS Level-III, and residency programs leading to MD/MS/MDS qualifications. PIMS offers specializations in areas such as General Surgery, Radiology, Gynae & Obs, Cardiology, Oncology, and many more, covering both medical and surgical disciplines.
Important dates: The entrance test date is scheduled for 24th November 2024. Candidates for the FCPS Program will begin their test at 09:00 AM, while MD/MS/MDS applicants will start at 12:00 Noon.
Eligibility criteria include an MBBS or equivalent degree, PM&DC registration, and one year of house job from a recognized institution. Successful completion of FCPS Part-I or MD/MS/MDS Level-I exams is required for program eligibility. Foreign applicants must apply through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs/HEC with valid registration from their country’s Medical Council.
