AIOU Assignments Schedule 2026 Deadlines Alert

Allama Iqbal Open University has officially released the complete AIOU Assignments Schedule 2026 for the Autumn semester. Thousands of enrollees across BA, B.Ed, BS, and BBA degree tracks now have exact submission dates to plan their academic coursework. Issued directly by the Directorate of Regional Services, this official timetable establishes crucial submission deadlines across all Open and Distance Learning ODL formats.

Understanding this timeline is vital for students aiming to maintain seamless academic progression without risking late penalties or course failures. Because assignment scores contribute significantly to overall semester grades, adhering to the officially designated submission windows ensures your coursework is evaluated smoothly by designated tutors before final term examinations kick off.

Allama Iqbal Open University Autumn 2026 Academic Framework

The Allama Iqbal Open University AIOU framework relies on structured distant learning modules where continuous evaluation plays a central role. The official study period for the Autumn semester formally spans from November 16 to February 28. During this intensive study window, candidates review prescribed course literature, attend mandatory online workshops, and construct comprehensive coursework solutions.

For undergraduate and postgraduate students alike, acquiring the AIOU assignment schedule 2026 early provides a strategic advantage. Course structures differ depending on credit hours; full-credit subjects require four separate submissions, whereas half-credit subjects require two. Staying aligned with these structural distinctions prevents last-minute submission stress and ensures tutors receive student work within designated evaluation windows.

The official timetable outlines program-specific deadlines for all distance learning tracks:

* Associate Degree in Arts/Commerce BA/B.Com Full Credit: First assignment is due on December 15, 2026; second on January 8, 2027; third on January 30, 2027; fourth on February 15, 2027.

Candidates enrolled in higher qualifications must note the AIOU BS assignment last date 2026 and the corresponding AIOU BBA assignment due date 2026 to ensure all digital uploads are completed smoothly.

Aaghi LMS Portal Online Submission Guidelines and Student Impact

All assignment submissions for BA, BS, BBA, B.Ed, and postgraduate courses must be completed online via the Aaghi LMS portal. Physical or postal submissions are no longer accepted for these higher education programs. Students must log into their personal portal accounts using university-provided credentials, convert handwritten or typed work into clean PDF files, and upload them before midnight on the specific submission date.

Failing to meet these deadlines carries serious administrative consequences. The university strictly enforces these cut-offs, meaning late uploads may lead to rejected coursework, lost internal marks, or withholding of final term exam results. Regional centers emphasize that any discrepancies regarding tutor allocation or submission records must be settled before final results are declared.

Understanding the submission calendar keeps your degree track on solid ground. Make sure to complete your work well before the final dates to avoid portal congestion or technical glitches.
