PhD Programs Admissions 2025 open in University of Karachi

1. Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology Up to 8 years 24 months coursework + dissertation + supervised internship

2. M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology 2 years Coursework + thesis + psychodiagnostic and psychotherapy training + internship

3. Post Magistral Diploma in Clinical Psychology PMDCP 1 year Coursework + research + supervised internship

4. Diploma in Rehabilitation of Childhood Disorders DRCD Evening Program 1 year Coursework + training in childhood disorders, speech/language therapy + internship

5. Post Magistral Diploma in Addiction Sciences PMDAS 1 year Coursework + research + internship + international certification facilitation

6. Diploma in Complementary Therapy DCT/NLP – Hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming 1 year Part-time; professional training in DCT & NLP

Eligibility Criteria

1. Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology

M.Phil. / MS in Clinical Psychology with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 and a 6-credit hour thesis, from an HEC-recognized university.

2. M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology

M.A. / M.Sc. or BS 4 years in Psychology with at least Second Class, from an HEC-recognized institute.

3. PMDCP – Post Magistral Diploma in Clinical Psychology

M.A. / M.Sc. or BS 4 years in Psychology with at least Second Class, from an HEC-recognized university.

4. DRCD – Diploma in Rehabilitation of Childhood Disorders

M.A. / M.Sc. or BS 4 years in Psychology or Special Education minimum Second Class, from a recognized institute.

5. PMDAS – Post Magistral Diploma in Addiction Sciences

M.B.B.S. with house job or M.A. / M.Sc. Second Class in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or Nursing from a recognized university.

6. DCT/NLP – Diploma in Complementary Therapy

M.A. / M.Sc. or BS 4 years in Psychology minimum Second Division or equivalent.
