NUTECH Announces Two New MS and PhD Programs
National University of Technology NUTECH has announced the launch of several new postgraduate courses. These include MS programs in Artificial Intelligence Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. A unique addition is the European uni on-supported MS in Climate Change and Environmental Informatics CCEI, specifically designed to tackle environmental challenges through advanced, data-driven strategies. Alongside these, the university has also introduced PhD programs in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Computer Science, further enhancing research opportunities in Pakistan. Inauguration Ceremony
The official launch event was held at NUTECH and brought together notable diplomats and representatives. Attendees included Philipp Oliver Gross, Chargé d’Affaires of the European uni on to Pakistan; Dr. Dan Stoenescu, Ambassador of Romania; Ina Lepel, Ambassador of Germany; Mary O’Neil, Irish Envoy; Peter Emil Nielsen, Interim Chargé d’Affaires of Denmark; and Tihomir Madzhev, First Secretary from the Embassy of Bulgaria. During the ceremony, the participants were briefed on the Euramus Active Project, NUTECH’s educational framework, and its contributions to applied technological learning in the country.
Global Support and Recognition
Addressing the gathering, Philipp Oliver Gross highlighted the importance of the new MS in Climate Change and Environmental Informatics, stressing that it will empower students to effectively address climate challenges with innovative and practical expertise. Similarly, ambassadors Dr. Dan Stoenescu and Ina Lepel commended NUTECH’s vision in introducing forward-looking academic programs. They noted that the overwhelming interest in MS admissions demonstrates the rising demand for specialised, industry-focused education. These initiatives, they added, will foster practical innovation, strengthen collaboration between academia and industry, and promote sustainable solutions for the future.
