MPhil and PhD admissions at JSMU 2026

Programs Offered

• Ph.D Pharmaceutical Sciences in the specialized fields of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacology.
• M.Phil Pharmaceutical Sciences with a primary focus on Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

Eligibility Criteria

• For Ph.D.: Candidates must hold a PharmD/B.Pharm with an MS/MPhil/MPharm degree 18 years of education.
• GPA Requirements: A minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 semester system or 60% annual system is required. Candidates with a CGPA between 2.5 and 2.9 may apply for conditional admission involving zero-semester courses.
• For M.Phil.: Requires a Pharm.D or B.Pharmacy Level 6 qualification with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 from HEC and PCP recognized institutions.

• Last Date for Submission: Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

Scholarship and Admission Procedure

• Entrance Tests: Valid GRE/HAT/GAT Subject tests with a passing score of 60% are required for Ph.D., while a 50% score in General tests is required for M.Phil..
• Interviews: Shortlisted candidates must undergo an interview with the Admission Committee.
• Research Proposal: Ph.D. candidates are required to submit a short research proposal during the interview phase.
