LLB Degree Programs Admissions 2025 open in HEC
The Education Testing Council ETC, under the authority of the Higher Education Commission HEC, is conducting the Law Admission Test LAT for students who aspire to pursue a five-year undergraduate LLB degree program in HEC/PBC recognized public and private universities, institutions, or affiliated colleges across Pakistan.
The LAT is being conducted in accordance with the directives of the Honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan, as per its Order dated March 6, 2018, and Judgment dated August 31, 2018, in Constitution Petition No. 34/2012.
Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply
You are eligible to apply for the LAT if you have:
Passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate HSSC or an equivalent examination 12 years of education; OR
Appeared in the final HSSC or equivalent examination and are awaiting results
Important Dates
Last Date for Online Registration: Tuesday, May 13, 2025 by midnight
Test Date: Sunday, June 1, 2025
Test Day Guidelines and Required Documents
To appear in the test, candidates must bring the following on the day of the examination:
A printout of the Roll Number Slip
Original CNIC or Passport
For candidates under 18 years of age who do not yet possess a CNIC:
Original B-Form
Original SSC/HSSC certificate with a photograph
Important Note:
Ensure that your personal information name, CNIC number, phone number, etc. is correctly entered in the application form.
Discrepancies between your CNIC and registration details will lead to disqualification on the test day.
Candidates who have applied using someone else’s CNIC e.g., parent, sibling, relative will not be allowed to sit for the test.
Why LAT is Compulsory
The LAT ensures that only qualified and prepared students enter legal education, raising the standard of law graduates across Pakistan. No student can be admitted to an LLB 5-Year degree program without passing this test.

Complete the registration form carefully
Submit before the deadline: May 13, 2025
