The Academic Council, headed by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Iraqi, is set to meet today Thursday to finalize the admission framework for the upcoming session. To ensure a smoother process, the Admissions Committee has decided to release notices earlier than in previous years. With intermediate exam results being processed more quickly, applications are expected to open by late September, followed by entrance tests in October. By comparison, last year’s admission cycle began in late October, with tests held in November.

According to Prof. Dr. Javed Iqbal, Chairman of the Institute of Space Science, the program had received Academic Council approval last year, but delays in formal confirmation postponed the student intake. He confirmed that admissions will be divided equally between morning and evening classes, and selection will be strictly merit-based through entrance exams. Only applicants with a pre-engineering background will be considered eligible.

Discussing the significance of the program, Dr. Iqbal emphasized that the curriculum integrates aerospace technology courses with management studies, enabling graduates to build strong careers in the aviation and airline sectors.
