KP Records Nearly 18% in MDCAT Registrations Since 2022

The number of students applying for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test MDCAT in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KP has declined significantly over the past four years. According to the latest figures shared by Khyber Medical University KMU, registrations have ped from 46,232 candidates in 2022 to 38,000 in 2026, representing a decrease of nearly 18%.

Education experts believe the decline reflects changing career priorities among students rather than a reduced interest in healthcare.
