Karachi University Announces Zakat & Ushr Scholarships
The Student Financial Aid Office SFAO, University of Karachi, has opened applications for the Zakat & Ushr Scholarship for students newly admitted to the Evening Program 2026. Eligible candidates from Sindh are encouraged to apply by fulfilling the required conditions and submitting all verified documents within the deadline. Eligibility Criteria and Application Guidelines for KU Zakat Scholarship
To qualify, applicants must hold a valid Sindh CNIC and should not have any government employees within their immediate family. Candidates are required to provide an attested Income Certificate, all necessary affidavits, and a Zakat Isteqaq Certificate, which must be certified by the Chairman Zakat of the applicant’s district.
Application Submission Details
The final date to apply is 22 December 2025, and completed forms must be submitted directly to the Student Financial Aid Office. All documents should be properly attested before submission.
Students enrolled in the Morning Program who wish to apply are advised to first obtain formal authorization from the Admission Office, since the fee submission cycle for their program has already concluded.
