JSMU Need Cum Merit Scholarships 2026 Now Open
Jinnah Sindh Medical University JSMU, Karachi has announced the opening of applications for Need Cum Merit Based Scholarships under Zakat and Usher Department, Government of Sindh. Students eligible for the scholarship can submit their applications from 15th to 31st January 2026 at the Financial Aid Department, located on the 4th Floor of the New Dental Building.
The JSMU Scholarships 2026 are awarded based on financial need and academic performance, following Islamic principles of Zakat. Only students from 2nd year onwards are eligible to apply, while Syed, minority, and self-finance students are not eligible for this fund. Applicants must submit their Istahqaq certificate from the District Zakat & Usher Committee, proof of family income, last year’s FBR tax filing report, CNIC, enrollment card, previous semester mark sheet, and electricity bills for the last six months.
Students can download the scholarship form directly from the JSMU Karachi official website and are advised to complete all documentation carefully to secure consideration for these prestigious financial aid awards.
