JSMU Master of Science in Public Health Admissions 2026
Jinnah Sindh Medical University JSMU is pleased to announce the opening of JSMU Master of Science in Public Health admission, Batch XII, for the 2026 academic session. This two-year, PM&DC and HEC-accredited degree is designed to equip healthcare professionals and researchers with the advanced expertise required to address critical public health challenges.
Eligibility Criteria and Academic Requirements
To be eligible for enrollment in this JSMU postgraduate public health courses, applicants must hold 16 years of education from an HEC or PMDC-recognized institution. Accepted qualifications include:
MBBS or BDS PMDC registered.
Four-year degrees in Public Health, Nursing PNC registered, Paramedics, DVM Veterinary Council registered, Pharm D Pharmacy Council registered, or Physiotherapy.
Master’s degrees in Social Sciences Sociology/Psychology/Anthropology, Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Business Administration MBA, or Nutrition.
For MBBS/BDS degree holders, one year of full-time house job experience from a PMDC-recognized institution is mandatory, and all applicants must possess proficiency in MS Office.
Application Process and Timeline
The process to apply for the MSPH admission is straightforward. Interested candidates should follow these steps:
Download the application form and fee voucher PKR 5,000.
Submit the completed form, paid fee voucher, and all required documentation via courier to the Office of Admissions, Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Rafique H.J. Shaheed Road, Karachi.
Key dates to remember for the 2026 MSPH session are:
Form Availability: Starting Monday, June 22, 2026.
Submission Deadline: Saturday, July 18, 2026.
Interview Date: Thursday, July 30, 2026.
Final Merit List: Monday, August 3, 2026.
Orientation/Classes: Starting Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Entrance Test Pattern and Instructions
The public health entry test consists of 60 marks with a 90-minute duration. The test pattern includes 20 MCQs in Public Health, 30 MCQs in Arithmetic and Verbal Reasoning, and 2 essay questions. Candidates must bring their original CNIC and admit card to their designated centers at least 30 minutes before the exam. Please note that Persons with Disability PWD are encouraged to apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
