The Joint Admission Committee JAC of Azad Jammu & Kashmir AJ&K invites applications from eligible candidates for admission 2025-26 to First-Year MBBS and BDS programs in Government Medical Colleges of AJ&K and reserved seats for AJ&K nationals in Public Sector Medical/Dental Colleges of Pakistan Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan & Sindh. Admissions will be strictly merit-based as per the Admission Policy of the AJ&K Government.

Special Seat for Neelum/Leepa
Overseas/Foreign Nationals
2. Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- MDCAT Qualification: Must have passed the MDCAT examination.
- Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary School Certificate HSSC or equivalent 12th-grade qualification recognized in Pakistan with a minimum of 60% marks, including mandatory subjects Biology and Chemistry. Either Physics or Mathematics is also required.
- MDCAT Score: Minimum 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS. MDCAT results are valid for three years.
- Foreign or overseas students may qualify via SAT-II 550 min, foreign MCAT, or UCAT 50% marks as per PM&DC regulations.
- Overseas/Foreign Nationals Eligibility: Pakistani citizens permanently residing abroad, Green Card holders, Iqama holders, or Maple Card holders who have completed HSSC/FSc or equivalent from inside or outside Pakistan may apply for 15% Self-Finance/Overseas/Dual National seats.
3. Merit Calculation
The aggregate merit percentage is calculated with the following weightage:

4. Admission Procedure
a. Online Application.
Enter profile information name, domicile, marks, etc. and upload mandatory scanned documents including:
State Subject Class-1
Domicile
PRC Permanent Residency Certificate
CNIC
Educational Certificates
Differently Abled Persons Certificate if applicable
Photograph, signatures, and left thumb impression LTI
Note: Refugees 1947 and 1989 are exempt from PRC; Refugees 1989 are exempt from domicile but must upload a Refugee Card.
List medical/dental colleges in order of preference; this order is final.
Verify the category Open Merit, Self-Finance, Overseas, Differently Abled, Special Seat for Neelum/Leepa, BDS before final submission.
Once submitted, the application cannot be edited.
Differently Abled applicants must tick the relevant box and upload required documents.
b. Processing Fee Submission:
Rs. 3,000/- Admission Processing Fee + Rs. 400/- IT charges non-refundable via EasyPaisa, Debit Card, or online banking.

Important Notes:
Appeals against Differently Abled Board decisions must be submitted within 5 working days to the Secretary Health.
Submission of fake/forged documents will result in a 7-year ban from admissions.
Incomplete applications or incorrectly submitted documents will be rejected.
Equivalence Certificates are mandatory for foreign qualifications A/O Levels, etc..
Selected candidates must deposit original SSC & HSSC certificates attested by IBCC.
MDCAT results must be uploaded from the Nominated Admitting University by PM&DC.
Admission willingness must be submitted on judicial stamp paper Rs.100/-, otherwise, admission will be canceled.
