IBA Sukkur Proposes Seven Key Measures for MDCAT Exam
The secretary of the Testing Agency at IBA Sukkur has addressed the Sindh Health Secretary with an urgent seven-point proposal for overseeing the upcoming MDCAT exam. The students can get the latest updates of IBA Sukkur Proposes Seven Key Steps for Conducting MDCAT Exam.
With the exam date approaching, the letter underscores the need for immediate action, including appointing focal persons from both the PMDC and the Health Department. The proposal also calls for an expedited online meeting with stakeholders, including IBA Sukkur, PMDC, relevant universities, and other officials.
Following the Sindh High Courts order on October 26, the MDCAT exam must be conducted within four weeks. However, IBA Karachi has opted not to administer the test for Karachi, leaving the Sindh Testing Service STS to manage the exam across the province. The letter notes that STSs expanded role will require formal court authorization.
The STS Secretary outlined a candidate fee of Rs. 6,000, to be deposited into an official account 15 days before the test date. He also requested the prompt transfer of candidate data from the PMDC portal and a formal MoU with the Health Department.
The letter emphasized that preparations will only begin after receiving written approval from the Health Department, stressing that any delay in meeting these requirements could disrupt the MDCAT schedule. Immediate action on all outlined points is therefore essential
