HEC Opens USAT 2025 Registration for Undergraduate Admissions
The Higher Education Commission HEC of Pakistan has announced that registration is now open for the Undergraduate Studies Admission Test USAT 2025. The USAT is a standardized national test designed for students seeking admission to undergraduate programs in Pakistani universities that recognize HEC’s testing framework.
According to HEC, the test is mandatory for students who have completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate HSSC, Grade 12, or equivalent education. Candidates who have appeared in their final examinations and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply. The test evaluates students’ analytical, quantitative, and language skills to ensure merit-based and transparent admissions across Pakistan’s higher education institutions.
The last date to register for the USAT 2025 is Monday, November 10, 2025, while the test will be conducted nationwide on Sunday, December 7, 2025. Interested students can complete their registration process online through the HEC Education Testing Council portal at etc.hec.gov.pk.
HEC officials emphasized that the USAT serves as a unified entry test, making it easier for students to apply to multiple universities without appearing in separate admission exams. It also helps maintain fairness and consistency in the admission process across both public and private universities.
Students facing any technical difficulties during the registration process can contact the HEC support team through onlinehelp.hec.gov.pk.
