HEC MS/MPhil Elimination Policy Leading to PhDs
Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has abolished the MS /MPhil leading to PhD programs while issuing the new PhD admission policy for the students. According to the HEC MS/MPhil Elimination Policy Leading to PhDs, the universities with less than 10 years of existence are restricted from commencing specialized PhD programs and further admissions to these programs are stopped now. The document shows the timeline for completion of new degrees and PhD degree will not be completed in less than three years or more than eight years after being enrolled in the university. The candidates, who are interested in this degree program, they can visit the official website of HEC to find the latest updates of the doctoral degree program.
