HEC GRE General Training Under US-Pak Knowledge Corridor
The Higher Education Commission HEC of Pakistan, under its "Uraan Pakistan" banner, has opened applications for comprehensive GRE General Training. This specialized coaching is designed for exceptional individuals seeking doctoral funding under the prestigious US-Pak Knowledge Corridor PhD Scholarship Program. Training seminars will be hosted locally across four major urban hubs: Islamabad, Karachi, Quetta, and Lahore.
Candidate Eligibility Criteria
The project welcomes applications from prospective researchers and active university faculty members meeting these s:
Nationality: Must be a citizen of Pakistan or Azad Jammu & Kashmir AJK.
Education: Possession of a minimum 4-year bachelor’s degree BS, B.Sc, B.E. representing 16 years of formal education.
Academic Record: Candidates must have no 2nd or 3rd Divisions throughout their entire academic career.
Age Limits: Maximum age at the closing date must be under 40 years for government employees or public sector faculty, and under 35 years for all other applicants.
Selection Perks & Funding Benefits
Merit-Driven Slots: Placement offers will be distributed strictly to candidates scoring highest on academic merit relative to available seating.
Fee Concessions: Selected trainees pay only a concessional fee of Rs. 5,000/-. The remaining training balance is fully covered by HEC.
ETS Fee Reimbursement: Trainees who achieve a GRE General score of 300 or above will receive a full reimbursement of their ETS exam fee.
US University Admissions: Securing a HEC PhD admission 2026 at any top 100 QS 2026 world-ranked U.S. university positions the candidate for full doctoral funding under the Corridor initiative.

No Initial Deposit: Applicants do not need to pay any processing fees at this stage. Fee collection guidelines will be shared post-shortlisting.
