HEC Awards Best University Teacher Prizes

Islamabad, Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has announced the names of the University teachers, as the ‘Best University Teacher Award’ and Federal Education Minister was the chief guest of this ceremony. The students and teachers can watch HEC Awards Best University Teacher Prizes.

In the category of Life Sciences and Medicine, Dr Syed Asghar Nadeem of King Edward Medical University Lahore is declared the best university teacher. The Asst Professor, Farah Naz Beg at Institute of Business Administration IBA Karachi won the award of best university teacher in the category of Physical Sciences and Engineering. Momin Ayub is the Associate Professor at Lahore University of Management and Sciences LUMS, who won the best university teacher award in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities. The Best University teacher award was started in 2003 with the objective to recognize the outstanding teachers and they will be award with the prizes and incentivize them on their best teaching skills, which encourage the higher level teaching staff and scholars. The cash prize of Rs.1 million will be awarded to each winner with the certificate of recognition. The best teacher of each university will get the cash prize of Rs.200,000 with the recognition certificate.
