HEC Allows PhD Admission after BS Degree

Higher Education Commission has issued orders regarding direct admission in PhD program after completion of the BS degree program. The HEC has modified its policy and informed all public and private universities across the country to start admission process in the PhD programs soon after passing the BS degree. Now the students will be able to change their discipline for PhD and they can choose any other discipline from the wide range of disciplines. HEC Allows PhD Admission after BS degree and HEC has empowered all government and private universities to admit the students, who are pursuing their BS Honors, directly in the PhD degree programs. The PhD scholars will have to complete their PhD degree in maximum 8 years and the scholars will have to stay within the country for minimum two years after completing their PhD degrees. HEC has issued the HEC policy, which will take effect from 01-01-2021.
