Govt Sets Rs 22.21B for Global Student Scholarships
As outlined in the official budget documents reviewed by online resources, the federal government has allocated Rs. 22.21 billion under the Public Sector Development Programme PSDP 2025–26 for its Overseas Scholarship Program, which supports MS/M.Phil leading to PhD studies abroad. The students can get fresh updates of Govt Sets Rs. 22.21B for Global Student Scholarships.
HEC’s Overseas Scholarship Program to Strengthen Academic Excellence
Administered by the Higher Education Commission HEC, the program is designed to provide exceptional Pakistani students with opportunities to study at top-ranked international universities. The initiative targets advanced education in vital fields to help foster national progress.
Regarded as a cornerstone of Pakistan’s higher education strategy, the program aims to develop a pool of highly skilled professionals and researchers who can contribute meaningfully to the country’s innovation, technology, and economic growth. The announcement comes just ahead of the presentation of the federal budget for fiscal year 2025–26.
