GCU Lahore Summer Internship Program 2026 Admissions
Government College University GCU Lahore, an institution with 162 years of excellence, is proud to announce its inaugural GCU Summer Internship Program GCU-SIP. This strategic initiative is designed to offer undergraduate students from GCU and all HEC-recognized institutions a unique opportunity to gain professional, hands-on experience in a vibrant academic and research ecosystem.
Program Structure and Timeline
The GCU-SIP for inter class is structured to provide an immersive experience for students while maintaining academic balance. Key details regarding the program schedule include:
Total Duration: The internship spans a period of 6-8 weeks.
Weekly Commitment: Participants are expected to engage in program activities 5 days a week.
Tentative Schedule: The program will take place between July and August, primarily at the Main Campus or KSK Campus.
Eligibility and Academic Recognition
This internship program is particularly valuable for students seeking to fulfill mandatory requirements. The program is valid for a compulsory BS internship as outlined in the HEC undergraduate policy 2023. Eligibility requirements for applicants include:
Successful completion of the 4th semester or the equivalent of two years of undergraduate studies from any HEC-recognized university or college.
Applicants must maintain good academic standing.
Students who are currently awaiting results are also eligible to apply for GCU bachelors summer camp admission.

The internship provides exposure to various professional domains, allowing students to develop as competent future leaders in Pakistan. Suggested areas of focus include Strategic Planning & Governance, Entrepreneurship & Business Incubation, Academic Research & Innovation, Financial Management & Procurement, Digital Archiving & Library Sciences, Inclusive Education & Student Services, Examination & Academic Data Management, Event & Facility Management, Public Relations & Digital Media, Information Technology, and Quality Assurance & Data Analysis.
Application Process and Important Notes
Interested candidates must apply online before the deadline of 06-07-26. Please note the following important considerations:
Placement and selection are subject to the availability of slots.
No honorarium will be paid to interns; however, GCU will not charge any fees for participation.
Official certificates will be awarded only upon successful completion of the program and receipt of a positive evaluation report from the supervisor.
