Pakistani Students Invited to Apply for Fully Funded Master’s Scholarships in Japan

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the ADB–Japan Scholarship Program ADB–JSP, applicants must:

Be a citizen of an ADB borrowing member country Pakistan included.
Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Have at least two years of full-time work experience in a relevant field.
Be under 35 years of age at the time of application.
Commit to returning to their home country and working there for at least two years after graduation.
Not already hold a master’s degree. Those planning for PhD studies later should consider applying for the MEXT Scholarship instead.

Required Documents

Applicants must prepare and submit the following materials:

Application Form official GSFS form
Field of Study and Research Plan outlining academic interests
Academic Transcript from their bachelor’s degree
Degree Certificate or proof of graduation
Two Recommendation Letters to be emailed directly by referees with the subject line: “ADB recommendation letter_Applicant Name”

All application materials, except recommendation letters, must be uploaded through the official Google Form by December 10, 2025.
