Fully Funded Azerbaijan Scholarships Announced for Students from Pakistan

Azerbaijan has introduced a fully funded scholarship opportunity for Pakistani students through the Heydar Aliyev International Educational Grant Program for the academic year 2026–27. This initiative allows talented students from Pakistan to continue their higher education at universities in Azerbaijan. The scholarship program has been shared by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan HEC, which confirmed that students can apply for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degree programs offered by recognized Azerbaijani institutions. Higher Education Opportunities in Azerbaijan Through the International Grant Program

This scholarship program provides extensive financial support to ensure that selected students can study without facing major financial challenges. One of the main advantages of the program is the full coverage of tuition fees for the entire duration of the selected degree program. This means that students will not have to pay any academic fees to the host universities while completing their studies.

In addition to tuition coverage, the scholarship also includes travel support for the students. Successful candidates will receive one international return air ticket each year, enabling them to travel between Pakistan and Azerbaijan during their study period. To help students manage their daily living expenses, the program offers a monthly allowance of 800 Azerbaijani Manat AZN. This stipend is intended to cover essential costs such as accommodation, meals, and utility bills during their stay in the country.

Healthcare support is also part of the scholarship package. Students will be provided medical insurance valued at around 200 AZN, ensuring they can access medical services if needed during their academic stay. Moreover, the program also covers visa-related expenses as well as registration fees, which further reduces the financial burden on students who wish to study abroad.

Students from Pakistan who are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity must submit their applications before the deadline of March 20, 2026, at 4:00 PM. Applications are to be submitted through the official scholarship portal managed by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Before applying, candidates are advised to carefully review the eligibility requirements and application guidelines available on the HEC website to ensure that they meet all necessary criteria.
