FDE Extends Holidays Till 6 June 2021 in Islamabad

The National Command and Operation Center NCOC has decided to extend the holidays in the Schools and colleges under Federal Directorate of Education FDE, Islamabad till 6th June 2021. According to details, the FDE has officially announced to extend the holidays after the decision of NCOC.

According to the notification, the closure of federal educational institutions has been extended due to the rate of corona cases in Islamabad being about 6%. The closure of educational institutions has been extended from May 24 to June 6, according to the guidelines already issued.

The final decision on the reopening of the institutions will be taken by the NCOC, which will meet on June 3. The education officers of all the areas have been directed to send a copy of the notification to ensure its implementation.

Earlier, educational institutions were closed till May 23, but the NCOC has issued instructions that in cities with more than 5% corona cases, educational institutions will remain closed till June 7.
