DUHS Releases Postponement of Exams Notice 2025 Due to Diwali Holidays
The Dow University of Health Sciences DUHS Karachi has officially issued a Postponement of Exams Notice 2025, informing students that all examinations scheduled for 20th and 21st October 2025 have been postponed. The notification, released by the Examinations Department Ref No.: DUHS/EXM/2025-2644, cites the Government of Sindh’s official holiday announcement for Diwali as the reason for this change.
Holidays Announced for Diwali Festival
According to the Government of Sindh Notification No. SOCTC/SGA&CD2722010, holidays on 20th and 21st October 2025 have been declared in observance of Diwali for the Hindu community. Consequently, DUHS has postponed all exams that were to be conducted at Dow Medical College DMC and Dow International Medical College DIMC, Ojha Campus on these dates.
Rescheduled Dates to Be Announced Soon
The DUHS Postponement of Exams Notice 2025 also confirms that the new exam dates will be announced later through the university’s official channels. Students are advised to regularly check the DUHS Karachi official website for updates regarding the revised exam schedule.
Official Communication and Next Steps
Copies of the notification have been forwarded to the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Principals of DMC and DIMC, and other concerned departments to ensure all students and staff are informed promptly.
