DUHS Announces Examination Notice 2025 for BSN Semester-I Viva Exams

The Dow University of Health Sciences DUHS, Karachi, has officially announced the DUHS Examination Notice 2025 for the BSN Semester-I Viva Exams. According to the university’s Examinations Department, the exams will commence on November 13, 2025, and will continue until November 17, 2025, depending on the campus and institute.

The notice, referenced under DUHS/EXM/2025-2839 and DUHS/EXM/2025-2840, outlines the distribution of students campus-wise. Multiple affiliated nursing institutions under DUHS are included, such as Dow Institute of Nursing & Midwifery, Holy Family Institute of Nursing, Patriotic Health Sciences Institute of Nursing, Al-Jadoon College of Nursing, Naz Nursing Institute of Health Sciences, and Pakistan Rangers College of Nursing.

Campus-Wise Viva Examination Venues

As per the official DUHS Examination Notice, the Viva Exams will be conducted across several DUHS campuses, including Dow Medical College Baba-e-Urdu Road, Dow Institute of Nursing Ojha Campus, Dow International Medical College, and Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan Institute of Oral Health Sciences. The BSN Semester-I Viva Exams 2025 will begin daily from 03:00 PM onwards. The schedule mentions that students from partner colleges like Oxford College of Nursing, Memon College of Nursing, Rehman Institute of Nursing, Qatar College of Nursing, Indus College of Nursing, and others will attend their exams at designated venues according to their respective allocations.

Exam Dates and Subjects

The DUHS BSN Semester-I Viva will test students in two major foundational subjects — Fundamentals of Nursing-I and Anatomy & Physiology-I. The first paper, Fundamentals of Nursing-I, is scheduled for November 13 and 14, 2025, while Anatomy & Physiology-I will be held on November 15 and 17, 2025, depending on the institute group. The Controller of Examinations emphasized the importance of punctuality and adherence to the examination rules throughout the process.
