BISE Hyderabad Amends Matric Annual Exam Date Sheet 2026

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE Hyderabad has officially announced an amendment to the matric class date sheet for the upcoming 2026 session. Following a provincial directive from the Sindh Universities and Boards Department, the start date for the SSC annual examinations has been shifted to April 7, 2026, to accommodate Holy Week and Easter celebrations.

New Schedule for 9th and 10th Class Exams

Originally, the examinations across Sindh were slated to begin on March 31. However, the revised BISE Hyderabad Matric Annual Exams 2026 Revised Date Sheet ensures that no academic papers are held between April 2 and April 6, providing relief to minority communities. Under the updated plan:

10th Class SSC Part-II: Examinations will commence on April 7, 2026.
9th Class SSC Part-I: Papers are scheduled to begin on April 8, 2026.
Morning Shift: Generally reserved for the Science Group.
Evening Shift: Generally designated for the General/Arts Group.

Impact on Private and Government Schools

The BISE Hyderabad revised date sheet applies to all students enrolled in government and private educational institutions under the Hyderabad Boards jurisdiction. School administrators have been advised to update their internal calendars, as the change in the starting date has caused a ripple effect, shifting the dates for all subsequent subjects.

Examination Centers and Roll Number Slips

Despite the date change, the assigned examination centers remain the same. The board is in the process of issuing updated electronic roll number slips. Students should ensure they carry their original Roll Number Slips to the hall, as strict monitoring will be in place to maintain the integrity of the matric board exams.
