AUP Admissions 2025 Undergraduate Degree Programs

The University of Agriculture Peshawar, one of the leading institutions of higher education in agricultural and allied sciences in Pakistan, is pleased to announce admissions for the Spring 2026 semester. The university offers quality education, modern research facilities, and a student-centered academic environment to prepare graduates for professional excellence and national development.

Admission Process

Online applications are invited on prescribed forms for admission against open merit seats only in the following Programs:

AUP Admissions Offered Undergraduate Degree Programs:

B.Sc. Hons. Agriculture

BS Human Nutrition & Dietetics

BS Food Science & Technology

BBA Hons.

BS Computer Science

BS English

Application Procedure

Admission forms and bank challans can be downloaded from the official website starting from 15 December 2025.

A hard copy of the completed application form, along with attested copies of all required documents and the original bank receipt, must reach the Directorate of Teaching, University of Agriculture, Peshawar, on or before 09 January 2026.

Merit Determination

Merit for admission to Bachelor degree programs will be calculated on the basis of a combined score as follows:

SSC marks: 40% weight

HSSC or equivalent Part-I 1st Year marks: 60% weight

Admissions granted on the basis of HSSC Part-I results will be provisional and subject to confirmation after the declaration of HSSC Part-II results. Candidates who fail to meet the minimum eligibility criteria after final results will have their admission cancelled as per university rules, and the fee will be refunded.

Age Limit

Candidates who have attained or will attain the age of 25 years on the last date of submission of application forms are not eligible for admission to Bachelor degree programs.

Eligibility Criteria

Admission will be granted on merit and availability of seats in accordance with the following eligibility requirements:

B.Sc. Hons. Agriculture

F.Sc. Pre-Medical/Pre-Engineering with at least 45% marks in SSC and HSSC, or Diploma in Agriculture Sciences DAS with at least 45% marks in SSC and 2.00 CGPA in DAS.

BS Food Science & Technology

F.Sc. Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering with at least 45% marks in SSC and HSSC.

BS Human Nutrition & Dietetics

F.Sc. Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering with at least 45% marks in SSC and HSSC.

BBA Hons.

F.Sc./D.Com/DBA/1.Com/DAE/ICS equivalency certificate required where applicable or F.A. with at least one of the following subjects: Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics, with at least 45% marks in SSC and HSSC.

BS Computer Science

F.Sc./FCS/DAE or Intermediate in General Science/Computer Science or equivalent, with at least 45% marks in SSC and 50% marks in HSSC.

BS English

FA/F.Sc. with at least 45% marks in SSC and HSSC.

Merit Lists, Hostels, and Scholarships

The merit list schedule will be displayed on the official university website after the closing date of applications. Complete details regarding admission rules, examinations, hostel facilities, and fee structure are also available on the university website.

Hostel accommodation will be provided on the basis of merit and availability of seats. The University of Agriculture, Peshawar also offers scholarships and financial assistance to deserving students through HEC, USAID, and other scholarship programs, in addition to awards for outstanding academic performance.
