AKU Admissions 2025 Schedule: Important Dates

• Online Application Period: The online application for the MBBS program at AKU has already closed. It was open from March 9 to May 8, 2025.
• AKU Admission Test: The universitys admission test was scheduled for Saturday, July 19, 2025.
• Interviews: Candidates who were shortlisted based on their performance in the admission test will be called for panel interviews with faculty members in September or October.
• Commencement of Classes: Classes for the new academic year are scheduled to begin in January 2026.

AKU Admission Criteria: What You Need to Know

• Academic Qualifications: Applicants from the Pakistani Higher Secondary System must have an overall aggregate of 75% in their Secondary School Certificate, with at least 65% in English. The eligibility criteria for other educational systems e.g., British, American are also available on the universitys official website.
• AKU Entry Test: All candidates must take the AKUs admission test, which covers English, Science, Mathematics Reasoning, and Science Reasoning. It is a computer-based exam.
• Interviews: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews to assess their potential for leadership and communication skills.
