About University Of Okara

University of Okara is a public sector university. University of Okara was initially established as a campus of University of Education, Lahore in 2005. Later on in 2016, on the decision of Punjab Provincial Assembly, the campus was decided to upgrade to University of Okara. The university was established under the motto “Explore, Meditate, Research”. The university is currently located in Renala Khurd, Okara. The academic affiliation of the university is with Higher Education Commission HEC, Islamabad.

The university aims to impart higer education to the students of Okara and surroundings with the modern and innovative techniques and strategies to enable the students to compete with the rest of world in various areas like engineering, technology and health sciences.
