About The University Of Haripur
University of Haripur was established in 2008 as a campus of University of Hazara. The establishment of Haripur (UOH) University is an important milestone in the history of higher education in the Hazara region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, an area that includes the Karakoram International Highway. There was a strong impetus for the establishment of UOHs and a significant coordination among potential stakeholders in the direction of the project.
The KPK Government upgraded the campus to University of Hazara UOH in 2012. The UOH premises spread over an area of 236 Kanals on the premises of once factory of Rosin and Turpentine. The UOH is a leading higher education institution that provides quality education to the students of remote hilly areas of Hazara division. University of Hariput is chartered by Government of KP and recognized by Higher Education Commission HEC, Islamabad.
