PIEAS is the shortest form of Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences. This university is public sector and research oriented University situated in the beautiful place of Islamabad, Pakistan. PIEAS is the leading university in Pakistan that provides higher education in the field of natural Sciences, formal sciences and Engineering. Initially this university was a school which was affiliated with Quaid-e-Azam University. After that it becomes Nuclear Studies center in 1976. This institute got the status of full-fledge University in 1997.
The building of this university is well designed and spread over the area of 150 acres. This university consists of 9 academics block, 8 workshops, production plants for liquid oxygen and nitrogen. It has also 30 laboratories and classrooms which are fully equipped with the facility of video lectures.  Lot of scholarships and financial aids are offered to the students of this university.
