About Military College Murree
Military College Murree started operations on 2008 and inaugurated by then Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kiani for the quality education and grooming of students to make them able to serve in Pakistan Army.
The MCM has achieved the highest status in its performance in imparting education and training of the students and became a dynamic educational entity. The college is built for 450 boys from grade 8th to 12th.
Military College Murree is situated about 7000 above the sea level on Lower Topa, Murree Hills. The total distance of MCM from Islamabad is 57 KM via expressway.
The College is operating under IGT & E Branch / HRD Dte, GHQ. It can accommodate 450 X students from 850th grade to 8th grade. The power of each entry is 90. The College is headed by a Commandant and is organized in the Department of Education and Administration. The Education Wing is headed by a Deputy Commandant who is also the Chief Instructor. It is assisted by heads of departments and a full faculty. The administrative wing is headed by a lieutenant colonel and is responsible for administrative matters. Physical training / sports and outdoor activities are supervised by agents, housemasters and house officers.
