About Lahore School Of Economics

The Lahore School of Economics or “The Lahore School” is an independent research based higher education institution in commerce and was established in 1993 and chartered by the Government of Punjab in January 1997, through the Lahore School of Economics Act 1997 (Provincial Assembly of the Punjab- Act II of 1997). The Lahore School has two campuses: the Main campus and the City campus. The Main campus is located on the intersection of DHA Phase VI Main Boulevard and Burki Road, spread over 50 acres (200,000 m2) and the city campus is located in Gulberg-III.

The Lahore School of Economics LSE consists of two distinctive institutes, the Graduate Institute of Development Studies, which carries out research and training in international development, and the Centre for Research in Economics and Business, which publishes the Lahore Journal of Economics as well as the Lahore Journal of Business.

The Lahore School of Economics LSE offers Undergraduate and post graduate programs in various departments and faculties under the supervision of highly qualified and competent faculty members. These Faculties are as follows:
