Punjab Class 5 & 8 Board Exams B-Form Mandatory
The Punjab Govt has introduced a significant reform for primary and middle school Exams by making the Child Registration Certificate B-Form compulsory for students appearing in Punjab schools Class 5 and Class 8 board Exams. The new policy is designed to improve student identity verification, eliminate fake registrations, and establish a transparent Exams system across Govt and private schools in Punjab. The move forms part of the provinces broader education reforms aimed at strengthening data accuracy and ensuring that every candidate is officially documented before participating in board assessments.
Why the B-Form Requirement Has Been Introduced
Under the revised Exams policy, schools must ensure that every eligible student possesses a valid NADRA-issued B-Form before completing the registration process. Education authorities believe that linking student records with official identity documents will reduce duplication, prevent impersonation during Exams, and create a more reliable education database. The policy also supports digital record management and helps authorities monitor student enrolment more effectively across the province.
Responsibilities for Parents and Educational Institutions
Parents are encouraged to obtain or update their childrens B-Forms well before the registration deadline to avoid delays in Exams enrollment. Likewise, Govt and private schools have been instructed to verify student information carefully before submitting registration details. Institutions that fail to comply with the new documentation requirements may face registration issues for their students during the annual board Exams process.
