NA Resolution Teaching Quran with Translation in University

National Assembly has adopted the resolution for teaching of the Holy Quran with translation in the universities all over the country. The Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan tabled the resolution during the session of National Assembly and this resolution was convened under chairmanship of the speaker of the National Assembly. It is mentioned in the resolution that the Holy Quran is taught with translation at the universities and it is mandatory for the students to complete this course of reading of Holy Quran with translation to qualify for the degree. This resolution was passed after its development by the Punjab government, which has introduced the new Quran Course and the students of the public and private universities all over the country to learn Urdu translation of the Holy Quran.

The governor of the Punjab has already issued the notification to all universities located in public and private sector in Punjab and it was said that the teaching of the Holy Quran with translation will be mandatory for all students and no degree will be awarded to the students without completing the course.
