RCVS Lahore DVM & Postgraduate Admissions 2026

Riphah International University has officially announced the launch of its fresh academic admissions for Riphah College of Veterinary Sciences 2026 at its sprawling Raiwind Road campus in Lahore. Targeting ambitious pre-medical candidates and science graduates, the institution has opened applications for its flagship Doctor of Veterinary Medicine DVM alongside a Livestock Assistant Diploma LAD, as well as specialized M.Phil and PhD tracks. With limited seats available across these high-demand professional disciplines, early applicants are moving swiftly to secure their academic future amid strict regulatory standards.

This announcement arrives at a critical juncture for aspiring veterinary professionals across Punjab. Securing admission into a recognized veterinary institution has become exceptionally competitive, heavily impacting students looking to transition smoothly from intermediate studies into specialized medical sciences. Official notices confirm that the college maintains prominent accreditations with the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council PVMC and the Higher Education Commission HEC, alongside provisional membership with the Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges AAVMC. Such credentials ensure that graduates receive globally recognized qualifications, elevating the stakes for prospective applicants eyeing limited campus slots.

Riphah Lahore Campus Veterinary Program Structure and Eligibility

Located at the 13-KM Raiwind Road facility, the college delivers comprehensive training across multiple tiers. The flagship 5-year DVM degree requires candidates to hold a strong background in FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent. Alongside the undergraduate degree, a 2-year LAD program targets individuals seeking practical field technician expertise. Meanwhile, postgraduate aspirants can pursue advanced research tracks across diverse sub-disciplines including Theriogenology, Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Animal Nutrition, Microbiology, Pathology, and Parasitology.

Comprehensive Application Guidelines and Weekend Support

To accommodate busy student schedules and working professionals, administrative authorities have confirmed that the admission office on Raiwind Road remains operational on both Saturdays and Sundays. Candidates are advised to submit their credentials through the digital portal at admissions.riphah.edu.pk. While official timelines indicate rolling processing for limited slots without a strict rigid cutoff in the latest notices, applicants should verify precise entry test dates and eligibility breakdowns directly with university helpline representatives to avoid processing delays.

When will the Riphah DVM admission merit list 2026 be announced?

Early data suggests that merit calculation for undergraduate professional slots typically factors in past academic records alongside mandatory institutional entry evaluations. Administrative sources indicate that composite merit lists will be published on the main portal following the conclusion of screening phases. Successful candidates will need to complete fee submission procedures promptly to lock in their enrollment status.

How to apply online for Riphah Veterinary College admissions 2026?

Prospective applicants can initiate their submission by visiting the official web portal, creating a secure candidate profile, and selecting the Raiwind Campus alongside their desired program. Essential documents, including Matric and Intermediate mark sheets, must be scanned and uploaded accurately. Applicants should ensure all form fields match their official board certificates to prevent rejection during credential verification.

What are the eligibility criteria for the Riphah MPhil and PhD programs?

Postgraduate applicants aiming for advanced research tracks must possess a relevant 16-year degree or a recognized DVM qualification for MPhil, while doctoral candidates require an accredited MPhil degree in a matching veterinary discipline. Shortlisted applicants are generally invited to clear a departmental interview and subject test. Meeting baseline grade requirements set by both HEC and internal academic boards remains mandatory.

Are campus hostel and laboratory facilities available for students?

Yes, campus infrastructure features fully equipped diagnostic laboratories, spacious lecture halls, and dedicated residential hostels catering to both male and female out-of-station students.
