Karachi Board Announces Inter Results With 40% Overall Pass Rate
Board of Intermediate Education Karachi BIEK has declared the results for the Intermediate Part I Commerce Regular Annual Examinations 2025, showing that just 40% of candidates successfully passed all seven papers. Detailed Breakdown Shows Majority of Students Cleared Only Some Papers
According to Controller of Examinations Zarina Rashid, a total of 26,774 students were registered for the exams, out of which 25,907 appeared. Among them, 10,399 students managed to clear all seven subjects, while the rest passed between one and six papers.
The detailed results indicate that 3,293 candidates passed six papers, 3,213 cleared five, and 2,572 succeeded in four papers. Additionally, 2,280 students passed three papers, 1,732 cleared two, and 1,510 were able to pass only one paper.
Released on Thursday, the results highlight the performance trends of first-year commerce students across Karachi. BIEK officials mentioned that the outcome reflects both the challenges students encounter and the gradual progress they are making as they continue toward completing their intermediate studies.
