In response to a recent in temperatures attributed to rainfall, the Federal Directorate of Education FDE in Islamabad has announced modified timings for schools and colleges in both urban and rural areas. These changes are effective as of October 16 and have been introduced to address the changing weather conditions. The students will get latest updates of Islamabad Adjusted Winter School Timings.

Timings for Single-Shift Institutes

For single-shift educational institutions, the new schedule entails operation from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on Monday through Thursday. However, Fridays will see an earlier closing time, concluding the weeks activities at 12:30 pm.

Adjusted Timings for Double-Shift Institutes

Similarly, double-shift institutes in the federal capital have also witnessed revisions in their timings. The morning shift will begin at 8:00 am and conclude at 1:00 pm from Monday to Thursday, with an early finish at 12:30 pm on Fridays. The evening shift, on the other hand, will operate from 1 pm to 6 pm from Monday to Thursday, and on Fridays, the second shift will commence at 2:30 pm.

Postgraduate College Timings

Postgraduate colleges have not been exempt from these changes, as they will now operate from either 8:30 am to 2:00 pm or extend until 4:00 pm, providing flexibility to cater to their unique academic requirements.
