Gujranwala Board Allows Free Group Change 2025
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE Gujranwala has officially announced an important update regarding group changes for Matric students enrolled in the academic session 2025–2027. This decision, made during a board meeting is intended to support regular students who wish to switch their academic stream.
According to the gujranwala board new directive, students who are currently registered under the Science Group or Arts Group but wish to opt for the newly introduced Matric Tech Group can now apply for a group change without any additional fee until August 30, 2025.
All affiliated public and private institutions under BISE Gujranwala are directed to submit group change applications via their school portal on behalf of the interested candidates. After the deadline, standard group change fees will be applied.
This policy is introduced to encourage flexibility and promote vocational education pathways through the Matric Tech stream, aligning students with more career-oriented opportunities.
