Government College Women University Faisalabad GCWUF has announced the addition of a mandatory Punjabi language and literature course for its undergraduate students. The students can get the latest updates that GCWUF Introduces Punjabi as a Mandatory Subject.

Course Details and Implementation

As per the university’s press statement, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen has approved a two-credit-hour course titled “Punjabi Zaban Te Adab.” This course will be compulsory for students in the Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, Humanities and Languages, as well as Management Sciences.

Promoting Indigenous Languages

Officials at GCWUF emphasized that this initiative reflects the university’s commitment to preserving and promoting Pakistan’s native languages. The program aims to enhance students’ understanding of their linguistic roots and cultural heritage.
