FPSC Schedule for Section Officer Promotional Exams 2024

Federal Public Service Commission Islamabad is set to conduct promotional exams for the selection of Section Officers in the Office Management Group, commencing from May 21, 2024. This Specialized Operational and Professional Exam SOPE will include written exams carrying a total of 650 marks, along with a psychological assessment test for eligible candidates who successfully pass the written phase. Qualified individuals will proceed to the viva voce stage. The candidates of FPSC will note FPSC Schedule for Section Officer Promotional Exams 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for Section Officer Promotional Exams 2024

a        Educational Qualification:

Candidates must hold at least a second-class or Grade ‘C’ bachelors degree. If a candidate possesses a 3rd division or Grade ‘D’ degree, their bachelors degree will be considered if they have obtained a masters degree in a higher division.

b        Age Limits:

Candidates must be 30 years of age or younger as of the closing date for the acceptance of applications on November 27, 2023.

c        Length of Service:

Applicants should have a consecutive 8 years of government service in various specified departments, including President, Prime Minister, Senate, National Assembly, Federal Secretariats, attached departments, Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat, FST, FPSC, IB, and Civilian Employees of the Armed Forces in the BS 11 to BS 16.

Submission of Application Forms for Section Officer Promotional Exams 2024

All eligible candidates are required to apply online for SOPE-2024 from November 12, 2023, to November 27, 2023. Subsequently, they must submit the hard copy of the application forms, duly signed with all necessary documents, to the FPSC headquarters in Islamabad within 10 days of the closing date.
