Winter Vacations in Schools & Colleges Extend to Jan 8

Muzaffarabad, State Government of AJK has decided to extend the winter vacations in the educational institutes till January 8, 2022 due to cold weather in the region. The public and private educational institutes will remain close by the extended date of 08 January. The government started the winter vacations on 02 December and the vacations were going to end on 01 January but due to cold weather, the winter vacations are extended to the new date. Sindh government announced the winter vacations from 20 December and now the educational institutes across Sindh will be opened from Monday on 03-01-2022 after ending of the winter vacations. Sindh Education Department issued the statement that all public and private schools and colleges were closed from 20 Dec 2021 to 01 January 2022 and now the educational institutes are opened from 03 January 2022.

Punjab School Education Department is also going to extend the winter vacations by 13 January because of the severe cold weather and also the danger of spreading of the coronavirus pandemic in the province. The government of Punjab announced the winter vacations from 06-01-2022 to 13-01-2022.
