Winter Break for Private Schools & Colleges in Islamabad
Islamabad Capital Territory ICT Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority PEIRA has officially declared the islamabad winter vacation schedule for college for all private schools and colleges in the federal capital. The students, teachers and admin staff will note the complete updates of Winter Break for Private Schools & Colleges in Islamabad.
As per the notification issued on December 20, 2024, all private educational institutions in Islamabad will remain closed from December 21, 2024, to January 5, 2025. Regular educational activities will recommence on Monday, January 6, 2025.
The notification, which was signed by Muhammad Javed Iqbal, Secretary of ICT-PEIRA, outlines that this winter break in Islamabad applies to all private institutions under PEIRAs jurisdiction, in accordance with the Islamabad Capital Territory Private Educational Institutions Registration & Regulation Act, 2013.
The Islamabad Winter Vacation aims to provide students and staff with a well-deserved break during the colder months. The decision was made to ensure that the educational community has the opportunity to rest and recharge before the new academic term resumes.
PEIRA has circulated the notification to relevant authorities, including the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, to ensure proper implementation and public awareness of the holiday schedule.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to take note of the winter break dates and plan accordingly as schools prepare for the seasonal holidays. This advance notice helps families manage their schedules during the holiday period.
