Victory over Corona: High schools open in Wuhan from today
BEIJING: High schools have reopened in the Chinese city of Wuhan, the starting point of the novel corona virus, after a four-month shutdown.
All educational institutions in Wuhan were closed in January due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, but now that the situation has returned to normal, high schools have reopened along with other educational institutions.
Chinese government has ensured safety measures by installing thermal scanners outside each school, requiring all students and teachers to wear masks. Each student is given a desk in the classroom with a distance of one meter between the two desks.
After all these arrangements, 121 high schools have been opened in Wuhan from today. The Chinese Ministry of Education says the opening dates for primary and middle schools will be announced soon.
