Eligibility Criteria

For M.Phil:

Four years of education 120 credit hours after HSSC or equivalent 16 years of education

Minimum 2nd division 50% marks or CGPA 2.5/4.0 in the relevant field

Departmental eligibility criteria as per www.uvas.edu.pk

Must pass the GRE/HAT General test with at least 50% score

For Ph.D:

M.Sc. Hons or M.Phil degree with First Division 60% marks or CGPA 3.0/4.0

Departmental eligibility criteria as per university website

Must clear GRE/HAT General test with minimum 60% score

Application Procedure

Download prospectus and application forms from the university website

Pay Rs. 2500/- processing fee plus Rs. 500/- for each additional discipline via Alfalah Bank challan

Submit the completed application along with attested documents one set to the Directorate of Advanced Studies, UVAS Lahore, via postal courier

Government employees must attach NOC from their department

Registration certificates for all degrees from relevant councils are mandatory

Hostel facilities available subject to seat availability

Duplicate or unofficial certificates e.g., HOP will not be accepted
