USAT Registration for QAU Admissions 2026
Quaid-i-Azam University QAU, Islamabad, in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission HEC of Pakistan, has announced a dedicated QAU Islamabad Undergraduate Studies Admission Test USAT for the Fall 2026 session. This special opportunity is tailored for prospective students who intend to apply for undergraduate programs at QAU but have not yet registered for the USAT. Passing this test is a mandatory requirement for admission to QAUs undergraduate degree programs.
Eligibility and Test Categories
This dedicated examination offers a first chance to candidates who missed the initial registration window and a second chance for those who wish to improve their score. Eligible candidates include those who have completed their HSSC exams, are currently in HSSC part-1, or hold A-Level or equivalent qualifications. To accommodate diverse academic backgrounds, the USAT categories are organized by discipline:
USAT-A: Arts and Humanities
USAT-COM: Commerce
USAT-CS: Computer Science
USAT-E: Engineering
USAT-GS: General Science
USAT-M: Pre-Medical
Essential Registration Timeline
Prospective applicants must strictly follow the official QAU admission test schedule 2026 to ensure their participation. The registration portal opens on Monday, June 22, 2026, and will close on Monday, July 6, 2026. The test is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, July 26, 2026.
Application Guidelines and Testing Procedures
To complete your registration, please visit the official HEC portal. When applying, please consider the following critical instructions:
Accurate Information: Ensure all personal details, such as name and CNIC number, are accurate, as these must match your official documentation. Candidates must use their own CNIC or B-Form for registration; the use of any other individuals credentials is strictly prohibited.
Fee Submission: The test fee must be deposited via 1link/1Bill invoice using online banking applications. Once paid, click ‘Verify Payment’ on your ETC profile dashboard to successfully submit your application.
Test Day Requirements: Roll No. Slips will be available for download from the ETC portal one week before the test. On the day of the examination, you must present a printout of your Roll No. Slip along with your original CNIC or, for those under 18, a B-Form and original SSC/HSSC certificate with a photograph.
Test Center Protocol: Please note that electronic devices, including mobile phones and calculators, are prohibited inside the test center.
