UPR Special 4th UGAT 2025 Results Published

The University of Poonch Rawalakot UPR has officially released the UPR Special 4th UGAT 2025 results under the Directorate of Advanced Studies & Semester Affairs DASSA. The announcement covers results for various departments, including Agronomy, Entomology, Food Science, Human Nutrition, Plant Breeding, Pharmacy, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, Management Sciences, and Education.

Highlights of the Announcement

According to the notification No. UPR/DASSA/721/2025, the tests were conducted on 28th October 2025, with results declared on 31st October 2025. The passing criteria were set at 50% for M.Phil. programs and 60% for Ph.D. programs, and the result validity extends up to 27th October 2026.

Top Performing Departments

Among the standout results, the Department of Eastern Medicines recorded exceptional performance, where Ms. Safeena Tariq Ph.D. scored 79 marks, and Syed Abidullah achieved 70 marks, both qualifying successfully. Similarly, in Food Science & Technology, Atia Zakir secured an impressive 94 marks, leading her department.

Exemplary Ph.D. Achievements

In the Department of Plant Breeding & Molecular Genetics, Ms. Aneela Azad emerged as the top scorer with 98 marks, followed by Ms. Bushra Afzal with 87 marks, showcasing outstanding academic excellence. The Department of Soil & Environmental Sciences also saw a strong showing with multiple Ph.D. scholars — including Ms. Saba Shafqat, Syeda Sadaf Batool, Syeda Wajiha Zanib, and Ms. Ammara Razi — all qualifying above the passing threshold.

Performance in Science and IT Disciplines

The Department of Chemistry continued its tradition of academic distinction, where Ms. Tabish Akhtar achieved 92 marks, topping the MS Chemistry candidates. In Computer Science, Syeda Urooj Kishwar and Ms. Muqaddis Khalid led the Ph.D. category with 90 marks each, while multiple M.Phil. candidates, including Sundas Khalid, Muhammad Ikram Siddique, and Rubab Niamat, also excelled with scores above 80 marks.

Management and Education Departments

In Management Sciences, Ms. Samreen Khalil stood out with an excellent 91 marks, while Ms. Summia Mustafa followed closely with 84 marks. The Department of Education Main Campus, Evening reported numerous qualified candidates, including Ms. Hammad ul Haq Khan 65 marks and Ms. Shazia Sehar 52 marks.
