The Exams Department of the University of Karachi has officially issued an urgent notification regarding the rescheduling of specific academic assessments. Due to the observance of the annual Urs of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittal, certain papers originally scheduled for late July have been officially deferred to ensure students can participate in the cultural and religious observance without academic conflict. Revised Schedule for MBBS Final Professional and LLM Papers
The postponement directly impacts candidates enrolled in medical and postgraduate legal disciplines. The university has outlined the precise changes for the affected sessions as follows:
- MBBS Final Professional Annual Exams 2026: The Medicine-I paper, originally set for Wednesday, 29-07-2026, has been rescheduled and will now take place on Thursday, 06-08-2026.
- LLM Previous & Final Annual Exams 2023:
- Paper IV Previous - Comparative Study of Islamic and Western Jurisprudence, previously slated for 29-07-2026 Wednesday, is postponed to 06-08-2026 Thursday.
- Paper V Final - Company Law & Mozarbet, originally scheduled for 29-07-2026 Wednesday, will now be conducted on 06-08-2026 Thursday.

To maintain seamless administrative operations, the Controller of Exams has clarified that all other parameters for the tests remain unchanged.
