Research Institute of Chemistry, is officially inviting applications for its UoK M.Phil. & Ph.D. admission program 2026. University of Karachi, PCMD offers specialized postgraduate tracks tailored to meet the highest international research standards.

PCMD Molecular Medicine: Pursue advanced studies in Molecular Medicine, including Cellular Biology, Molecular Genetics, Molecular Pharmacology, Neuro-Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, Biopharmaceutics, Computational Drug Discovery, Structural Biology, Stem Cell Research, and Molecular Pathology.

H.E.J. / T.W.C. Chemistry/Pharmacology: Engage in rigorous research within Organic Chemistry, Analytical/Physical/Inorganic Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Bio-Organic Chemistry, Textile Chemistry, and Pharmacology.

Eligibility and Academic Requirements

Candidates must hold the appropriate academic credentials from an HEC-recognized institution.

M.Phil. Eligibility: Applicants for PCMD must possess an M.Sc. or a four-year B.S. degree in relevant life sciences, while H.E.J./T.W.C. candidates require a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmacy. M.B.B.S., B.D.S., or D.V.M. holders are eligible but must complete 15-credit hours of foundational coursework.

Ph.D. Eligibility: Applicants must hold an M.Phil. or M.Pharm. qualification in their respective fields.
